Club on the hunt for new members

Thursday, February 04, 2010, 06:30

GRAINTHORPE Cricket Club , champions of the Cojo's East Lindsey Cricket League, are looking for new members.

The club are hoping to attract players, young and old, of any ability, who enjoy playing cricket.

Grainthorpe also run a Saturday team in the RP Smith Friendly League which consists of young players learning the game and senior members.

Everyone will get a chance to take part in the game – batting or bowling.

Because there are seven other teams in the league which the club play at home and away, there will be 14 available fixtures for new players to take part in.

Grainthorpe meet for indoor net sessions on Thursday evenings at Oasis Academy, Wintringham between 9pm and 10pm.

Anyone interested in taking part or wanting more information can contact Mick Stapleton on 07718 422925.
