Harvest are ready

Saturday, March 06, 2010, 06:30

THE race for the Sills & Betteridge Lincolnshire Football league title hots up tomorrow with leaders Ruston Sports travelling to the seaside to take on Skegness Town.

Ruston will be hoping to get the three points to keep them well in front of Harvest who, with five games in hand, entertain Horncastle Town looking to win and keep the pressure on.

Elsewhere, CGB Humbertherm will be hoping the tide has eventually gone out so they can host Skellingthorpe PFC in a mid-table battle.

Cleethorpes Town will also be looking for better weather in order to play a fixture against Lincoln United Reserves to try to get rid of their backlog of games.

There should be a very competitive game at Howell Road when Heckington United entertain second placed Sleaford Town Reserves in a local derby.

Hykeham Town will be looking to keep some pressure on the leading sides in case they slip up in the run-in by beating second bottom Boston Town Reserves.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Moorlands Railway Reserves entertain Louth United at Newark road in a bottom-of-the-table clash.
