Group: Member Posts: Joined: Wed Nov 7 2007 Status: Offline | Surprised to see Fenton go, I suspect this is more to do with finances than Buckley genuinely not wanting Fenton. Less surprised to see Toner go. A highly capable player who has been far too inconsistent throughout his career at Town, and who at times hasn't looked too bothered when playing. With Whittle and Fenton leaving, plus Atkinson's loan to finish, there will need to be lots of new faces in defence. Midfield also looks a bit short to me. At least we currently have two very good 'keepers and plenty of strikers! |
