Could the deafeat against the dags be a blessing in disguise?
It's certainly gone to show that we are not unbeatable.
I think that perhaps the defeat has come at just the right time as we cannot afford to be complacent against Morecambe in the coming fixtures.
Given our current standing in the league i think if we were to lose a game i'd rather it were saturdays defeat to the dags rather than any of the upcoming fixtues against Morecambe in the cup & the league.
Lets hope saturday has served us a kick up the bum that will spurr us on to wembley and act as a harsh reminder of what happens when you take the foot off the peddle.
Our remaining league games are so important from here on in but thanks to our resent run i think we can put them on the back burner and not have to worry about that until we have booked our place at wembley.

Now lets see if we can better ourselves and put together a 12 match unbeaten run!

Lets forget about the playoffs until they become a reality. Its not our given right to make the playoffs just because we can put together an 11 game unbeaten run.Theres a long way to go yet,and as soon as people start to talk about the playoffs as though they're a probability,as sure as anything they'll slip away.
Its important we take it 3 points at a time.
It would be nice to see us really hurting the teams that have deprived us points earlier in the campain.
If we can play every game from now until the end of the season like it is a cup final and show the sort of desire and comitment thats been on display of late, then maybe,"just maybe" wembley will become a familar place to us.
For now though such thoughts have to be put to the back of our minds.
Its something we can worry about later with only a handfull of league games to play.
The question shouldn't be "can we make the playoffs" but can we hurt the teams that have deprived us points...Can we get some sweet revenge?,after all this is what will determine whether we can or cannot make playoff position.

One game at a time!

UTM!

I think you're right there, Lee.
It also might be a blessing that the Morecambe game was postponed. Maybe a few extra days off after the Dagenham defeat might not be such a bad thing.
That way, we can get it out of our system and pick up a bit of form again before the Trophy games...
