Sophie's target

SOPHIE Walker was today looking for a low score to stay in the ANZ Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast in Australia.

The 25-year-old was well down the field after an opening four-over-par 76 which featured two birdies and six bogeys.

Walker, of Humberston, was due out at the Royal Pines Resort in Queensland at 12.20pm local time in the company of Ireland's Rebecca Coakley and Nina Reis of Sweden.

American Amanda Blumenherst held a one-shot lead after an opening-round 66.
