GRIMSBY Town Youth team made it five straight wins with a narrow 1-0 victory over York City at Cheapside, Waltham.

The young Mariners were on the back foot for much of Saturday's Youth Alliance North East Conference clash but claimed all three points thanks to a Harry Deane penalty.

Interim coach Adam Smith takes his side to Walsall tonight as the youngsters look to make the final of the Midlands Floodlit Youth Cup for the second time in four years.

Kick-off at the Banks' Stadium is 7pm.
